Simfonični orkester Cantabile v sodelovanju s fundacijo Music for the Future vabi na Koncert za mir na katerem bodo ob orkestru in gosti iz Ukrajine pod dirigentskim vodstvom Marjana Grdadolnika nastopili tudi ukrajinska solistka violinistka Sofia Kysliak, sopranistka Mojca Bitenc in Tone Kuntner ter Marcel Štefančič z umetniško besedo. Glasbeniki bodo ob delih Osterca in Williamsa izvedli tudi monumentalno tretjo simfonijo Mikolaja Goreckega za solo sopran in veliki simfonični orkester.
Vabljeni v Športno dvorano v Logatec v soboto, 5. novembra in v nedeljo 6. novembra v cerkev svetega Jožefa v Ljubljano. Podprimo fundacijo, ki pomaga mladim glasbenikom iz Ukrajine in s presunljivo glasbo Goreckega sporočimo svetu, da naj na zemlji zavladata mir in spoštovanje!


O koncertu
S tem koncertom se glasbeniki odzivamo na aktualne razmere v svetu, kjer strahote vojne uničujejo mesta in ubijajo ljudi. 
Za to priložnost smo običajni sestav Simfoničnega orkestra Cantabile ob pomoči dirigentke Žive Ploj Peršuh ojačali z glasbeniki iz Ukrajine, ki so pred strahotami vojne prebežali v Slovenijo. Posebno mesto smo namenili tudi vrhunski mladi violinistki Sofii Kysliak iz Ukrajine, ki bo izvedla skladbo iz filma Schindlerjev seznam. Ob tej skladbi bomo izvedli tudi stavek iz Suite slovenskega skladatelja Slavka Osterca z naslovom Religioso.Osrednjo programsko težo pa namenjamo izvedbi 50 minutne tretje simfonije skladatelja Mikolaja Goreckega, ki ima v svetovni zakladnici klasične protivojne glasbe posebno mesto. Ta poljski skladatelj jo je napisal kot odziv na strahote druge svetovne vojne in njeno ost usmeril v sporočilo miru.Koncertu bo dirigiral priznani dirigent Marjan Grdadolnik, za umetniško besedo bosta skrbela Tone Kuntner in Marcel Štefančič, solistični part bo v simfoniji pela sopranistka Mojca Bitenc.
Koncertni dogodek bomo izpeljali v Logatcu v športni dvorani in v Ljubljani v cerkvi svetega Jožefa, 5. in 6. novembra 2022.

Along with works by Osterec and Williams, the musicians will also perform Mikolaj Gorecki's monumental third symphony for solo soprano and large symphony orchestra.
You are invited to the Sports Hall in Logatec on Saturday, November 5 and on Sunday, November 6 to the Church of St. Jožef in Ljubljana. Let's support a foundation that helps young musicians from Ukraine and let Gorecki's moving music tell the world that peace and respect should reign on earth!


About the concert
With this concert, we musicians respond to the current situation in the world, where the horrors of war destroy cities and kill people. 
For this occasion, with the help of the conductor Živa Ploj Peršuh, the usual composition of the Cantabile Symphony Orchestra was reinforced with musicians from Ukraine who fled to Slovenia before the horrors of the war. We also dedicated a special place to the outstanding young violinist Sofia Kysliak from Ukraine, who will perform a composition from the film Schindler's List. Along with this composition, we will also perform a movement from the Suite of the Slovenian composer Slavko Osterec entitled Religioso. The central program will be devoted to the performance of the 50-minute third symphony by the composer Mikolaj Gorecki, which has a special place in the world treasury of classical anti-war music. This Polish composer wrote it as a response to the horrors of the Second World War and turned it into a message of peace.
The concert event will be held in Logatec in the sports hall and in Ljubljana in the Church of St. Jožef on November 5 and 6, 2022.
