Considered one of the most comprehensive singers of the current operatic scene, Gregory Kunde has sung regularly in the most important opera houses around the world, along with the best orchestras and conductors. Memorable are the successes achieved throughout his career in the areas of Italian and French bel canto. Moreover, in recent years, he has forged a great prestige in the "Verdian" repertoire that has earned him the singular distinction of being the only tenor in recent history to interpret the two Otellos, Rossini's and Verdi's, in the same season (2012/13, 2014/15 and 2015/16). It is a milestone that has not gone unnoticed by the most prestigious awards, the International Opera Awards, which recognised him as the Best Male Singer in 2016. Typical of the seasons of Real, Liceu, Maestranza, Palau de las Artes ..., he will offer in Palma a varied menu at the height of his portentous vocal faculties. Considerado uno de los cantantes más completos de la escena operística actual, Gregory Kunde ha cantado con regularidad en los más importantes teatros de ópera de todo el mundo, junto a las mejores orquestas y directores. Memorables son los éxitos conseguidos a lo largo de su carrera en los dominios del bel canto italiano y francés. En los últimos años, además, se ha forjado un gran prestigio en el repertorio “verdiano” que le ha valido la singular distinción de ser el único tenor de la historia reciente en interpretar los dos Otellos, el de Rossini y el de Verdi, en la misma temporada (2012/13, 2014/15 y 2015/16). Es un hito que no ha pasado inadvertido para los galardones más prestigiosos, los International Opera Awards, que lo reconocieron como el Mejor cantante masculino el 2016.
