The great cantata, which Rossini arranged for Verona for the Congress of the Holy Alliance in 1822, already experienced a glorious performance in Wildbad in 1997 - the truly heavenly aria of Elpino is unforgettable. In the meantime, there is the completely reconstructed version, which justifies a new recording.

This year, music director Antonino Fogliani requested it for his 20th anniversary with ROSSINI. We perform the cantata on the tower of the treetop path and with great soloists...

Bad weather variant: In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the Trinkhalle. Information will be available on our website from 2 pm. There is no bad weather alternative for Cat. 2. If the concert takes place in the Trinkhalle, the ticket is valid for a visit to the Baumwipfelpfad on 21.07.23.

Die große Kantate, die Rossini zum Kongress der Heiligen Allianz 1822 für Verona einrichtete, hat schon 1997 eine glorreiche Aufführung in Wildbad erlebt – unvergesslich ist die wahrhaft himmlische Arie des Elpino. Inzwischen gibt es aber die vollständig rekonstruierte Fassung mit faszinierender Musik, die eine Neueinspielung rechtfertigt. Musikdirektor Antonino Fogliani hat sich dieses Stück für sein Jubiläum 20 Jahre bei ROSSINI IN WILDBAD gewünscht. Wir spielen die Kantate mit Top-Solisten auf dem Turm des Baumwipfelpfads. Was für ein Erlebnis!
