Joe Wan is a well-known cellist in Taiwan. He will soon hold concerts with friends in Taipei and Kaohsiung. This concert is mainly based on the beautiful sound of the cello. The repertoire will be designed with cello solos and ensembles. The quintet will be reduced to the final solo, which symbolizes the return to the self, coexistence and dialogue with music alone. Composers include Antonio Vivaldi, Carlos Gardel, Astor Piazzolla, Daniel Gaisford, Niccolo Paganini, Jose Elizondo, George Crumb. These repertoires show the beauty of the cello, which can be both vigorous and moving as well as high-pitched and gorgeous. Hope the audience will enjoy this wonderful night.
