The month of April 2022 we begin with a Lyrical Gala with a beautiful repertoire in the beloved voices of Vanesa Regalado and Álex Rodríguez, on Friday, April 1 at20:00at the Pumapungo theater. Álex Rodríguez, Baritone: Master in Opera Interpretation. Graduated from the Rimski-Kórsakov Superior Conservatory of Music in Guayaquil with distinctions of Honors and Excellence and Best Degree Concert in the specializations of Violin and Lyric Singing. He has played starring roles in operas such as Gioacchino Rossini's Barber of Seville, Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata, Gaetano Donizetti's Elixir of Love, Cosi fan tutte and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's The Magic Flute, and in the world premiere of Luis Eunice. Humberto Salgado. He is currently Principal Conductor of the French Republic Chamber Orchestra. Vanesa Regalado, Soprano: Master's degree in opera performance. She began her studies at the José María Rodríguez Conservatory in the city of Cuenca and continued at the Rimski-Kórsakov Conservatory in Guayaquil. She has performed solo concerts as a special guest of the Loja and Cuenca Symphony Orchestras. She was a finalist in the international auditions of the Colón theater in Buenos Aires, First place in the international Young Talents contest. She currently continues her preparation at the teacher Xavier Rivadeneira. She is the founder of Cuenca Lírica Compañía de Ópera and president of the MusArtEH Foundation in Ecuador.
