The Neemrana Music Foundation celebrated a decade of opera in India in collaboration with the European Union. The event was held at Weightlifting Hall JN Stadium Complex, New Delhi.  

The Neemrana Music Foundation celebrated its 10th anniversary with an opera gala that paid tribute to the founder of the foundation, late Francis Wacziarg and his achievements. The gala presented the journey of opera to India from across the world, encapsulated in excerpts from the nine operas that The Neemrana Music Foundation has produced over the past years. The 10th Anniversary Gala Show, unique in its musical endeavour, feature passages from the nine operas that the Foundation has staged over the last decade in India, among them works of legends like Mozart, Giuseppe Verdi and Georges Bizet.

The Foundation is proud to present a cast of solo singers who are all Indians and have been trained directly or indirectly by The Neemrana Music Foundation. A choir of 50 adults and 40 children, including children from the Blind Relief Association and underprivileged families from the NGO Khushii, performed along with 10 soloists and dancers from three different dance styles - Kathak, modern ballet and Kalaripayattu.  

The orchestra consists of 50 musicians from across India and Europe. Three of the main singers are Amar Muchhala, Ramya Roy and Vikrant Subramanian.
