Hello, this is Kangshine⭐ This video is a Belvedere Competition video. It is said that this year's Belvedere Concours was a competition combined with those who passed this year (2021) because Covid-19 got worse last year (2020) and the preliminaries were unable to compete in the finals. The finalists competed in 'Erfurt', Germany. We were very grateful to receive the 3rd prize, and as a special award we received an Engagement from the Deutsch Oper in Berlin. Just before I came to study abroad last year, I applied for several Korean competitions. However, the results were all eliminated from the preliminary rounds.. The feeling is new and happy because it is a contest that I applied with the mindset of only passing the preliminary round with confidence that fell to the floor. Thank you so much to everyone who prayed and supported me☆ I will become a 'Kangshine' that works harder and develops. thank you.

And there is a magic inherent in every beginning that protects us and helps us to live. Hermann Hesse's words from the poem stages are particularly applicable to the beginning of young singing careers. It is always moving to witness how young singers cross the threshold and introduce themselves to a large audience, with all their wishes, hopes and talents. This also happened in Villach in 2019, when the famous International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition, one of the most important opera competitions in the world, was hosted in Villach. The courage, joy and enthusiasm of young singers thrilled the audience on the Drau. By far the very young Valeriia Savinskaia was convincing at the timefrom Russia and won the first prize of the renowned international jury as well as the media prize straight away. After an engagement at the Vienna State Opera, the enchanting soprano now sings at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. After the competition could not be held in 2020, the final round of the 2021 competition took place in Erfurt, where the young Korean Kangyoon Shine Lee was able to achieve 3rd place with his delicately managed tenor. He has already gained a lot of stage experience in his home country, which he deepened while studying at the Hanns Eisler University of Music in Berlin. His award at the Belvedere competition earned him an engagement at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
