The Queen of Spades is one of the most enigmatic and captivating operas in history. It harmoniously combines everything: incredible depth and dramatic content, beautiful music and mystical aura. Until now, it remains a lot of unsolved mysteries and undeciphered symbols. It amazes with the psychological sensitivity of reproducing the thoughts and feelings of the heroes, their hopes, suffering and death, the brightness of the pictures of the era. In the production of the Musical Theater, a fine line is observed between classics and modernity, the conceptuality of the director's decision and careful attitude to the author's original, the style of scenography and its splendor.
