Performance LOVE.EPILOGUE premiered on February 18, 2022, in the Museum of Moscow, commissioned by the independent music festival SOUND UP.

Ezra Pound is one of the most influential poets of the 20th century; his contributions to modernist poetry were enormous. But unfortunately, Pound is one of the most prominent victims of the call-out culture. Taking the poetry of Pound, the authors of the performance composer Alexye Sysoev and director Vera Martynov provoked a discussion around such a phenomenon as the cancel culture, which destroys the artist without trial or investigation, leaving the artist with no right to the last word.

Being a sensitive, sensual, and public person, often a vain and vulnerable figure, the artist becomes an easy victim of political games. The Pound's example shows how easily romantic ideas, taken out of context, become a tool in a politician's or society's hands.
