In der beliebten Barockmatinee der Düsseldorfer Symphoniker widmen sich Mitglieder des Orchesters diesmal der Musik des französischen Barock, bei der die Flöte eine wichtige Rolle einnimmt. Neben dem Flötenkonzert Nr. 7 e-Moll von François Devienne stehen darüber hinaus u.a auch Ausschnitte aus André Campras 1710 uraufgeführten Opéra-ballet „Fêtes vénitiennes“, einer kleinformatigen Untergattung der französischen Barockoper für ein Kammermusikensemble, Sopran und Bariton auf dem Konzertprogramm.

In the popular baroque matinee of the Düsseldorf Symphony Orchestra, members of the orchestra dedicate themselves to the music of the French baroque, in which the flute plays an important role. In addition to the Flute Concerto No. 7 in E minor by François Devienne, the concert program also includes excerpts from André Campra's Opéra-ballet "Fêtes vénitiennes", which premiered in 1710, a small-format sub-genre of French Baroque opera for a chamber music ensemble, soprano and baritone.
