樂壇的低男中音歌唱家沈洋是2007年英國廣播公司卡迪夫世界聲樂大賽的大獎得主，他演唱的曲目風格多樣，從巴洛克時期的清唱劇到二十世紀當代音樂作品都遊刃有餘。在本年音樂節，沈洋將攜手鋼琴家張奕明和演員黃柏豪，呈獻一場唐詩歌曲的饕餮盛宴，以聲樂推廣中華文化瑰寶。

在十九世紀，西方的漢學家和詩人相繼翻譯唐詩，使這份中華文化瑰寶得以在世界各地流傳。德國詩人漢斯．貝特格在1907年出版的詩集《中國笛》是其中一部翻譯及改寫唐詩的重要出版物，分別啟迪了音樂巨匠馬勒，以及韋伯恩、彭德雷茨基等多位作曲家譜寫動人的樂曲。本場音樂會的演出曲目包括多首取材自《中國笛》的音樂作品，將以歌聲樂韻帶領觀眾走上貫穿東西的唐詩之路

Como vencedor do concurso “Cardiff Singer of the World” da BBC em 2007, o baixo-barítono chinês Shenyang foi rapidamente projectado para a fama a nível internacional. Empenhado em promover os tesouros vocais do património das suas origens, Shenyang dividirá o palco com o pianista Zhang Yiming e o actor Wong Pak Hou para apresentar um repertório de canções inspiradas em poemas da dinastia Tang e escritas por conceituados compositores chineses e ocidentais.

A poesia da dinastia Tang, um dos tesouros culturais da China, foi introduzida no Ocidente no século XIX e traduzida para várias línguas. Uma das publicações mais importantes nesta época foi Die chinesische Flöte (A Flauta Chinesa), do poeta alemão Hans Bethge, uma antologia que veio a inspirar Mahler, Webern, Penderecki e muitos outros compositores. Alguns dos textos líricos desta publicação serão apresentados neste concerto. Venha passear ao longo da rota melodiosa da poesia da dinastia Tang.

As winner of the 2007 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition, Chinese bass-baritone Shenyang was brought swiftly to international attention. Committed to promoting the vocal treasures of his native heritage, Shenyang will the share stage with pianist Zhang Yiming and actor Wong Pak Hou to present a collection of songs set to Tang poetry and written by renowned Chinese and Western composers.
 
Tang poetry, one of the Chinese cultural treasures, was introduced into the West in the 19th century and translated into different languages. One of the most significant publications is Die chinesische Flöte (The Chinese Flute) by German poet Hans Bethge, which inspired Mahler, Webern, Penderecki and many other composers. Some of the lyrical text in this publication will be featured at this concert. Come promenade along the melodious road of Tang poetry.
