The Bolshoi Theater Youth Opera Program is “like a small factory producing something very expensive and exclusive,” says Dmitry Vdovin, Artistic Director of the Youth Opera Program. The path of a young artist from a university to a prestigious stage can take years and even decades. But theaters need young singers. The Bolshoi Theater is trying to concentrate its pedagogical and financial efforts on concentrating its savings and financial efforts on concentrating its savings efforts on.

The Bolshoi Theater's youth opera program began its work on October 19, 2009. The artists, selected as a result of auditions in the cities of Russia and the CIS, have been engaged in vocals, foreign languages, stage movement and acting skills for several seasons, and also take part in theater performances and concerts, prepare their own programs.

The program participants gave more than 100 concerts at the Bolshoi Theater, more than 30 concerts at the Historical and New stages, 29 (out of 44). and the USA
