De même, le personnage de Sœur Constance, chanté de manière lumineuse par Capucine Daumas évacue-t-il toute minauderie ou excitation factice, rendant à cette toute jeune fille sa fraîcheur enfantine et la candeur de sa foi. (...) Rarement les tempéraments de toutes ces figures ont été aussi bien exprimés par des voix également soucieuses de la diction de la langue française, de l'articulation impeccable des paroles. (…) Similarly, the character of Sœur Constance, sang luminously by Capucine Daumas, evacuates any simpering or artificial excitation, giving back to this young girl her childish freshness and the candour of her faith. Impertinente Despina, il soprano Capucine Daumas, è bravissima nel rendere vocalmente e scenicamente le varie situazioni, notaio, medico…, cui il personaggio è sottoposto nel libretto di Da Ponte, mentre il deus ex machina della vicenda(...) Ottima rappresentazione dunque quella cui si è assistito al Teatro Verdi, salutata da grandi applausi e da numerose chiamate al proscenio degli artisti e del direttore.

01/2020 - LA VIE PARISIENNE - Offenbach Role: GABRIELLE / Conductor:Claude Schnitzler / Stage director: Jérôme Savary/ Frédérique Lombard OPERA DE MASSY – France 2020 ---- Chez les femmes, c’est la soprano Capucine Daumas qui a su s’approprier le mieux la partition d’Offenbach. En effet, en plus d’incarner avec justesse la gantière Gabrielle et d’être convaincante en Veuve du colonel, la chanteuse passe aisément des aigus aux graves (« Autrefois plus d’un amant, tendre et galant », acte II), exécute avec une facilité déconcertante les vocalises de la Veuve, le tout sans se départir du côté coquin et impertinent de son personnage, allant même jusqu’à venir secouer ses gants sous le nez d’hommes du public assis au premier rang.

Nein, sie ist keine Märtyrerin, aber sie rettet die Aufführung. (...) Dass die erst vor wenigen Stunden eingeflogene (...) so war es ein einziges Vergnügen, der fröhlich-naiven Constanze bei der Arbeit zuzuschauen, die beim Bügeln lieber kindlich herumtanzt und sich an die Hochzeitsfeiern ihres Dorfes erinnert. Ein Extraapplaus für diese wunderbare Interpretation der liebenswerte Constanze. The heroin of the evening is called Capucine Daumas. No, she is not only a martyr, she saves the performance. (…) Flew in only few hours prior to the show, (…) It was a pure pleasure to watch the joyous naivety that Constance shows at work, dancing around and laughing as a child while ironing and remembering the weddings from her village. Some special additional clapping for this wonderful interpretation of this charming Constance. L’héroïne de la soirée s’appelle Capucine Daumas. Non, elle n’est pas un martyre mais elle sauve la représentation. (...) Arrivée par avion quelques heures auparavant, (...) Ce fut un plaisir pur de voir la joyeuse naïveté que Constance montre au travail, qui danse et se moque comme une enfant en repassant et en se remémorant les mariages de son village. Des applaudissements particuliers pour cette merveilleuse interprétation de cette charmante Constance.
