Biography
Dutch Soprano Caroline Cartens studied at The Royal Conservatory, Dutch National Opera Academy and the CNIPAL-Opera Studio. She obtained both her Bachelor and Masters degree Cum Laude. After her studies she performed a great amount of roles from Contessa di Almaviva, Donna Anna, Violetta, Juliette, Lauretta, Hellena, Liù, Dido to about 15 contemporary opera's from composers such as Raskatov, Wagemans, Padding, Meijering, Seung-Ah Oh and De Graaff. Recently Cartens performed Najade at Dutch Traveling Opera, Blümenmadchen II-2 at Dutch National Opera, Pale Lady (The Gambler) at Dutch National Opera
