Chiya Amos

Recognized for his remarkable versatility in opera, ballet, and symphonic conducting, the fast-rising young Singaporean conductor Chiya Amos is Conductor of the Mariinsky Theatre North Ossetia-Alania and Principal Conductor of Auddict Tempora, a london-based classical crossover orchestra. Through his mentor Riccardo Muti and following the grand lineage and tradition of Arturo Toscanini, Chiya focuses on the Italian operatic repertoire, particularly the operas of Verdi such as Aida, Rigoletto, Macbeth, La traviata, and Falstaff, and regularly works with opera houses throughout Russia. He frequently collaborates with the Buryat Opera and Ballet Theatre as a Regular Guest Conductor, and has worked with opera and ballet companies such as the RNO-Alania Opera and Ballet Theatre, St. Petersburg
