Katharina Ruckgaber

Nominated by the critics at Opernwelt magazine as Promising Young Artist of 2019, the Munich-born soprano has established herself in recent years as a highly talented young lyric singer. Her busy concert schedule has already taken her to Paris to perform with the Orchestre National de France, to recitals with the mdr Symphony Orchestra, to the Konzerthaus Berlin under Iván Fischer, the Gewandhaus Leipzig, the Philharmonie in St. Petersburg, to Moscow, the Cologne Philharmonie and frequently to the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, where in 2022 she sang Aennchen on René Jacob’s Der Freischütz tour with the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra.
