Leila Grace Hills

Leila Grace Hills was born in 1994 in Cape Town, South Africa. Her musical journey began with the violin when she received a scholarship in 2004 to study at the prestigious Yehudi Menuhin School of Music in England. She continued her violin and piano studies at the Purcell School of Music and began jazz and classical vocal lessons. In 2011, she made her vocal debut at Wigmore Hall and performed at Buckingham Palace for HRH Prince Charles. In 2016, she completed her first bachelor’s degree in French and Italian at University College London and then moved to Milan to pursue a bachelor’s degree of classical singing at the Giuseppe Verdi’s Milan Conservatory at Sonia Turchetta in the making . Leila is currently studying at Prof. Michael Gehrke at HFM Weimar in the Master's degree program Opera
