Mario Rojas

Mario Rojas is an alumnus of the prestigious Ryan Opera Center at the Lyric Opera of Chicago and an alumnus of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He has recently sung roles such as Romeo in Gounod's opera Romeo and Juliet and Ismael in Verdi's opera Nabucco at the Castel de Peralada Music Festival under the baton of Maestro Nicola Luisotti and the opera company of the Teatro Real in Madrid. Within his repertoire are characters such as Alfredo in La Traviata, who in 2019 at the Chicago Lyric Opera replaced a sick colleague at the last minute; Rodolfo in La Bohème; Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi; Nemorino in the Elixir of Love; Duque of Mantua in Rigoletto; Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor; among others.
