Biography
Czech young baritone Michal Marhold, has already been a member of Konzert Theater Bern’s (Bühnen Bern) fest ensemble and now he regularly collaborates with the opera houses in central Europe (Theater an der Wien, National Theatre Prague, Theater Winterthur, South Bohemian Theatre, and ect.) He has won numerous competitions,including President Prize of European Music Academy in Teplice and best young opera singer award in the Czech Republic. At present he studies with Roman Janál (soloist of Opera National theatre Prague). Between 2012 - 2018 he studied at Janacek’s Academy of Music and Performing Arts (Brno) & at Conservatory Brno between 2011 - 2014 (opera) From 2017 to 2019, been a contracted principal artist at the Konzert Theater Bern, appearing in such roles as Guglielmo in COSI FAN
