View programme, cast and crewYoung Japanese soprano MISAKI MORINO is hailed by both Austrian and Japanese audiences for her “pure and clear voice” and is quickly building a reputation as one of the most exciting up-and-coming singers for Baroque, Classical and Contemporary Music but also German Lieder and Operetta. In September 2020, she won the first prize at the International Brahms Competition in Austria, and in previous years the first prize at the Japan Music Competition (2018). In the 2020-21 season, she made her debut as Violetta at the Rohm Theater in Kyoto with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and in 2021-22, she repeated that role at the Theater Baden near Vienna. She also sang Adele in Die Fledermaus at the Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen in Germany, and debuted at the Luzerner Theater in Du Yun’s opera Zolle.
