Today, the RTS Music production is a modern system composed of the Symphony Orchestra, the Choir, the Children’s Choir, the Children’s Choir “Kolibri”, the Folk Orchestra, the Folk Ensemble and the Big Band.

The area of their activities includes performing and recording of symphonic, choral, vocal-instrumental, folk, popular and jazz music of domestic and foreign authors, particularly, national music heritage and contemporary works of Serbian authors and artists, as well as documentation of permanent recordings and archiving them in the Sound Archive of Radio Belgrade.

Today, under  the jurisdiction of Music Production is also organising, independently or in collaboration with related cultural organisations and institutions, public events and concerts in the country and abroad, public performance and recording of incidental music, preserving programs for children and youth, cooperation with European and world cultural institutions, as well as with domestic and foreign conductors, performers, authors and arrangers, along with the production and sale of music tracks on sound and image carriers, and publishing.

The affirmation of national culture makes a distinctive feature in the communication significance of Music production ensemble and it gives exclusivity to the public service program. Its ensembles are positioned as strategically important in order to promote and publicly present the national cultural heritage. Transparency of the ensembles’ work, both through the media and continuous presence in the concert podiums, especially contributes to the affirmation.

МУЗИЧКА ПРОДУКЦИЈА ДАНАС
Музичка продукција РТС данас је модеран систем кога чине Симфонијски оркестар, Хор, Дечји хор, Дечји хор „Колибри“, Народни оркестар, Народни ансамбл и Биг бенд.

Област њиховог деловања обухвата извођење и снимање симфонијске, хорске, вокално-инструменталне, народне, забавне и џез музике домаћих и иностраних аутора, посебно националне музичке баштине и савремених дела српских аутора и уметника извођача, као и остваривање трајних снимака и њихово архивирање у Звучном архиву Радио Београда.

У надлежности Музичке продукције данас је и организовање јавних приредби и концерата у земљи и иностранству, самостално или у сарадњи са сродним културним организацијама и институцијама, јавно извођење и снимање музичко-сценских дела, одржавање програма намењених деци и младима, сарадња са европским и светским културним институцијама, сарадња са домаћим и страним диригентима, извођачима, ауторима и аранжерима, као и производња и продаја музичких записа на носачима звука и слике, као и издавачка делатност.

Посебност у комуниколошком значају деловања ансамбала Музичке продукције чини афирмација националне културе, која даје ексклузивитет програму јавног сервиса, а њени ансамбли се позиционирају као стратешки значајни у циљу промоције и јавне презентације националног културног наслеђа. Томе посебно доприноси транспарентност рада ансамбала како кроз медије, тако и кроз континуирану присутност на концертним подијумима.

Из поменутих разлога Музичка продукција РТС, њени продукти и рад ансамбала данас се дефинишу као кључни модератори музичког и уопште културног живота Србије и нераскидиво су повезани са мапирањем културолошких садржаја у целој земљи.
