Pianovirtuoos, componist, succesauteur: Jeremy Denk is het allemaal. Hij lijkt wel de moderne versie van Franz Liszt, die met zijn veelheid aan talenten het toonbeeld

van de romantische homo universalis was. In zijn Wanderer-Fantasie herwerkte Liszt het gelijknamige pianowerk van Schubert tot een exuberant orkestwerk. Over exuberant gesproken: Igor Stravinsky's Sacre du printemps zette begin 20e eeuw de Parijse muziekwereld op zijn kop. Onder leiding van de energieke Poolse dirigent Krzysztof Urbański wordt dit een avond om nooit te vergeten.

For the first time, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and Opera Ballet Flanders are jointly presenting a subscription formula, with Stravinsky as the common thread.

Piano virtuoso, composer, successful author: Jeremy Denk is it all. He seems like the modern version of Franz Liszt, who is the epitome with his multitude of talents of the romantic homo universalis. In his Wanderer-Fantasie, Liszt reworked Schubert's piano work of the same name into an exuberant orchestral work. Speaking of exuberant: Igor Stravinsky's Sacre du printemps turned the Parisian music world upside down at the beginning of the 20th century.
