Madama Butterfly Puccini

After the extraordinary experience of last year which saw the participation in the scenographic preparation of the opera "Tosca" by Giacomo Puccini, also this year the students of our high school of the Scenography course participated in the assembly of the scenes of another very important work by Puccini at the Teatro Politeama Greco in Lecce.

It is "Madama Butterfly" opera in three acts, libretto by Giuseppe Giacosa and Luigi Illica which was staged with the prestigious collaboration of the Kitakyushu City Opera. Directed by Hiroki Ihara

Thanks to the availability of the artistic director of the traditional opera season 2015 dott. Carlo Antonio De Lucia, the pupils of the 4D Scenography specialization, accompanied by Prof. Donatella Ianne, with the presence of Prof. Gabriella D'Amuri of the "Tito Schipa" symphony orchestra of Lecce, took part in the scenographic preparation, at the costume rehearsal and make-up rehearsal of the "Madama Butterfly" on 20, 21, 22 April.

A complete, extraordinary training course, a journey of cultural and emotional growth; a pedagogical-educational experience that has opened the world of training to the practice of theatrical expressiveness, highlighting its educational, socialisation, production and cultural and civil promotion values.

Dopo l’esperienza straordinaria dello scorso anno che ha visto la partecipazione all’allestimento scenografico dell’opera “Tosca “ di Giacomo Puccini, anche quest’anno gli alunni del nostro liceo del corso di Scenografia hanno partecipato al montaggio delle scene di un’altra importantissima opera di Puccini presso il Teatro Politeama Greco di Lecce.

Si tratta di “Madama Butterfly” opera in tre atti, libretto di Giuseppe Giacosa e Luigi Illica che è andata in scena con la prestigiosa collaborazione della Kitakyushu City Opera. La regia è stata curata da Hiroki Ihara

Grazie alla disponibilità del Direttore artistico della Stagione lirica tradizionale 2015 dott. Carlo Antonio De Lucia, gli alunni della 4D indirizzo Scenografia, accompagnati dalla prof.ssa Donatella Ianne, con la presenza della prof.ssa Gabriella D’Amuri dell’orchestra sinfonica “Tito Schipa “ di Lecce, hanno preso parte all’allestimento scenografico, alla prova costume e alla prova trucco della “Madama Butterfly” durante i giorni 20, 21, 22 aprile.

Un percorso formativo completo, straordinario, un cammino di crescita culturale ed emotiva; un’ esperienza pedagogico-educativa che ha aperto il mondo della formazione alla pratica dell’espressività teatrale, evidenziandone le valenze educative, di socializzazione, di produzione e promozione culturale e civile.
