Who does not know the story of the poor orphan boy from the pen of Charles Dickens? The disturbing adventures of Olivér Twist are now brought to life in the form of a musical in Lionel Bart's sensational production, which takes the audience back to 19th century London. Growing up in the tumultuous world of Victorian England, little Oliver's troubled fate finally turns for the better, and we, the viewers, can follow his journey from the orphanage, through the robber chick as a member of a band of thieves, to the small child who calms down in orderly conditions.
