The first performance of the opera "Payatsi" was held in 1892 on the stage of the Milan theater. Shortly after that time, the opera, which qualified for the stage of other theaters, occupies a firm place in the repertoire of many leading world theaters.
"Payatsy" was staged in 1999 by the director Jannat Salimova at the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. To this day, it has a strong place in the repertoire of the theater, it is always appreciated by the audience with its beautiful stage design and costumes, high-level structure and professional performance of the participants.

“Payatsı” operasının ilk tamaşası 1892-ci ildə Milan teatrının səhnəsində keçirilmişdir. Həmin vaxtdan az sonra digər teatrların səhnəsinə vəsiqə qazanan opera bu günə kimi bir çox aparıcı dünya teatrlarının repertuarında möhkəm yer tutur.
“Payatsı” Azərbaycan Dövlət Akademik Opera və Balet teatrında 1999-cu ildə rejissor Cənnət Səlimova tərəfindən səhnəyə qoyulmuşdur.
