Dopo le rappresentazioni a Galati e ad Avignone, l'opera contemporanea "Il Re Cervo" debutta finalmente anche in Italia.
O foarte tânără soprană, Adelina Diaconu, a fost pentru mine agreabila surpriză a serii. A întrupat o Norina inspirată, dezinvoltă şi şăgalnică, subtilă şi pusă pe şotii, cu şarm şi plină de vervă. Am cunoscut în acest fel şi o voce cu timbralitate rotundă, cu frazare ce dezvoltă un legato frumos, cu lejerităţi preluate cu uşurinţă, cu strălucire în expresie dar şi cu un cânt „soft” în pasajele de intens lirism. Acutele au sunat bine iar viitorul şi experienţa le vor aduce mai multă siguranţă, depăşind inerentele emoţii ale debutului (A very young soprano, Adelina Diaconu, was for me the pleasant surprise of the evening. She embodied an inspired Norina, relaxed and playful, subtle and funny, charming and full of verve. In this way, I also got to know a voice with a round timbre, with phrasing that develops a beautiful legato, with rapid notes picked up easily, with brilliance in expression but also with a "soft" singing in passages of intense lyricism. The high notes sounded good and the future and experience will bring them more security, overcoming the inherent emotions of the debut)

În rolul titular a debutat Adelina Diaconu (fostă studentă a Silviei Voinea la Conservatorul bucureştean), care şi-a onorat cartea de vizită personală şi descendenţa artistică printr-o realizare lăudabilă, constantă pe parcursul operei dar de-a dreptul impresionantă în marea arie a nebuniei. Fiind debutul ei absolut în acest rol, evoluţia sopranei apare şi mai meritorie, deschizând frumoase perspective pentru a deveni o interpretă necesară oricărui teatru românesc care propune publicului această capodoperă donizettiană. (Adelina Diaconu - former student of coloratura soprano Silvia Voinea, at the Bucharest Conservatory, made her debut in the title role, honoring her personal calling card and artistic lineage with a commendable achievement, constant throughout the opera but very impressive in the scene of madness. Being her absolute debut in this role, the evolution of the soprano appears even more meritorious, opening up beautiful perspectives to become a necessary singer for any Romanian theater that offers this Donizetti masterpiece to the public.)
In 2018, the Nae Leonard Teatrul Muzical in Galati, Romania, was declared the National Opera Theatre, and this prestigious result was celebrated with the staging–in three acts–of Turandot, by Giacomo Puccini (1858–1924), with an Italian libretto by Giuseppe Adami (1878–1946) and Renato Simoni (1875–1952). For this special occasion, particularly appreciated is the work of Professor Paolo Bosisio as opera director, considering also his deep academic knowledge of Carlo Gozzi (1720–1806) and his tales for the theatre, which inspired the story of the princess Turandot.
